Wrong Way Perkins Joins the Band!

Tonight! Live from the Borealis Lounge! Wrong Way Perkins - guitarist extraordinaire arrives and joins the band, bringing in a wild new sound. Sort of like the Grateful Dead meets Santana and Miles Davis. Really wild super long jam odesseys and its their first time playing together! Unbelievable. Songs include Go Go boots, Hot Sashay, Odessey, Mr. Blobby and Under the Bridge. FM keeps the show going with his insult-ridden ventriliquist doll. This is a classic folks. Oh, yeah - buy the Aurora Club Jazz Jam Live CD at I-Tunes! Support the Show! ...

wow! Wrong Way is a joy to play with. Can't wait for Dr F. to have a chance to play with him. really like the sound - lots of on-going dialogue etween players and morphing into new grooves. Really like using my upright to play jam band stuff. For listeners, the mixing board had the mics goofed up so there is some distortion, but we tried to take it out. Had to publish it anyway, needed to document the first jam of the second season!

Glad to see the Club open again. Was starting to think it closed for good. Like the new sound - excellent back and forth between the trumpet and guitar. Drums could be louder! Reminds of some band my brother saw in LA, where all they do is jam on one premise and work up "soundscapes" for the next 45 minutes - but the AC is whole lot more interesting than that while embracing the same concept. I will post again when I remember the name of that band - or perhaps my brother will post, since he was the one who turned me on to them. Keep it FM, Hackin, Charlie, Dr F, Jack P, Berle, and Wrong Way Perkins!

Supes: Glad you dug it! I'm jazzed to be part of a new direction. I don't want to give too much away, but things are just gonna keep gettin' groovier!
